The installation was created in search of the earth's physicality, aiming to depict it as a living being and, through the status of an artistic object, shift its valuation—from commodity to kin. An anthropomorphic presence, it mirrors ourselves as it breaths and pulses. Sensitive to changes, it responds to its environement. It either lives and grows, or dies and dries up—or rots. It is a protagonist, demanding reciprocity. We approach, and it recoils; we withdraw, and it expands. Our bodies cast shadows that alter its form, revealing how we've inscribed ourselves upon it, just as it reshapes us. Earth lives, feels, and remembers and insists in perpetual becoming.
