We are trapped in a complex social network governed by an established hierarchy. These power relations dehumanise the majority of the human population: they do not value people as human beings, but as mere commodities. The performance develops around the activity of carving potatoes into human figures as an allegory of the rehumanisation of the individual. The project represents the condition of the modern human being and in a playful way invites the viewer to reflect on society, the collective feeling of being trapped, the eternal invincibility of established power relations, and takes the opportunity to remind the viewer of their own power.
